How to Set Up Island Email for Apple iPhone to Send and Receive Email
Step 1:
Go to iphone main menu, tap "settings"
Step 2:
Tap "Mail" Button.
Step 3:
Tap Add Account button.
Step 4:
Choose the type of email you are setting up.
(i.e. IslandEmail Account, tap "other")
Step 5:
Tap the "pop" option button
(if your mail provider allows for IMAP/Exchange. You may choose to connect via IMAP/Exchange)
Step 6:
Type your name in the name field.
In the E-mail Address field, type your entire email address
(e.g. yourname@islandemail.com).
Type a description for this email for reference
(e.g., work Email)
Incoming Mail server
Type your receiving/incoming mail server in the Host Name Field.
Type your Incoming Server User Name
(e.g. pop.islandemail.com)
Type your email password.

Step 7: Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP)
Type your sending/outgoing Mail Server in the Host Name field. (e.g. mail.islandemail.com)
- If using mail.islandemail.com, input Host Name as:
mail.islandemail.com:2525
Type your username for the SMTP Server.
Step 8: If using mail.islandemail.com
your user name is either
1. Your email address or
2. your domain name w/o the www/.com
(e.g. if domain is www.mydomain.com, username is: mydomain)
Type you username for the SMTP server
Type your SMTP password. - If using mail.islandemail.com, this password was emailed to you during the account set up. Please contact Island Technologiesto retrieve your password.
Tap "Save"
Step 9:
Your phone will verify the inputted information. If verified, email will auto download.
"If you get an error, cannot connect to pop.islandemail.com server, make sure your SSL is turned off in the advanced settings.
